Brûlée Catering is expanding its marketing team. Seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a collaborative marketing team based at GuestCounts Hospitality's corporate office, located at 520 N. Columbus Blvd., Suite 303, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Responsibilities include:
- Marketing and promotions
- Lead generation
- Online marketing (social media, online content, website management)
- Collateral development for sales and marketing
- Project management

Relevant experience includes:
- Management of marketing for catering, food service, hotel or restaurant
- Advertising Agency account representative with multi-client responsibility

Catering operations/event sales experience is preferred.  Ideal candidates must be creative, organized, interpersonal, possess strong writing skills and a strong familiarity with Twitter, Facebook, and Wordpress. Position Title: Donor Development & Special Events Internship

Location: Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter - Conshohocken, PA

This is an ideal position for a candidate interested in pursuing a career in non-profit, fundraising/development, event coordination and/or public relations while making a difference in the lives of people living with and affected by blood cancers. We are looking for an organized and creative self-starter who can manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with a diverse audience. The intern should have a strong work ethic, maintain attention to detail, and be able to work independently as well as a part of a team. Applicants who are proficient in Microsoft Office (including Publisher and Excel) and have some experience in event planning, marketing, customer service and/or graphic design are encouraged to apply.  This position will also assist with ongoing fundraising events such as the Red & White Ball, IHOP Volunteer Campaign, Race to Anyplace, Parx Casino Poker Tournament, and retail partnerships.


- Coordinating logistical aspects of various events such as securing in-kind donations, recruiting volunteers, preparing event materials, etc.

- Helping with event day logistics

- Preparing mailings to be sent to potential participants and donors -Working with local businesses to facilitate involvement with our campaigns

- Administers select special projects as assigned

- Grassroots Marketing and Fundraising

- Assist the Donor Development staff with publicizing special events, information meetings, and other activities as needed

- Runs donor acknowledgment letters on a weekly basis

- Maintains a working knowledge of LLS and our mission and programs

- Performs other related duties as assigned.


- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

- Excellent computer skills:  Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and database management

- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

- Professional demeanor and appearance

- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and judgment

- Proficient in business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar

- Confidentiality with all patient/donor/volunteer information

This internship is unpaid - potential for class credit is available pending school approval.
