For more than 25 years, Frank Supovitz has been at the helm of some of the world’s most prestigious, wide-viewed, and well-attended sports and entertainment events. As the Senior Vice President of Events for the National Football League between 2005 and 2014, he oversaw the meteoric growth of the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft, among many other league events. Prior to joining the NFL, Frank was the Group Vice President of Events & Entertainment for the National Hockey League for 13 years, responsible for the NHL All-Star Weekend, Stanley Cup, and together with the Edmonton Oilers, developed the first NHL outdoor game in 2003, the forerunner to the highly successful NHL Winter Classic. He began as a 15-year old usher at Radio City Music Hall, and advanced through the organization over his 16 year career to the position of Director, Special Events.
In 2014, Frank founded Fast Traffic Events & Entertainment, based in New York. Current clients include the South Street Seaport, the Indianapolis 500, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the National Rugby League in Sydney, Australia. He is the author of 3 books on event management, writes the monthly “Ask the Event Doctor” column for Sports Travel Magazine, and appeared in a cameo role as himself in Ivan Reitman’s 2014 film Draft Day.
